About the Honda City GM2

The fifth-generation Honda City (GM2) marked a significant departure from the quirky, tall-boy styling of its predecessor, adopting a sleek 'Arrow Shot' design language. Built on the same Global Small Car platform as the Jazz, it offered class-leading interior space and a massive 506-litre boot, making it a staple in Southeast Asian and Indian markets. The 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine provided a balance of fuel efficiency and rev-happy performance typical of Honda's SOHC units. While never sold in Western Europe or North America, its reliability and packaging efficiency established it as one of Honda's most successful global nameplates.
