About the Honda Civic Mugen RR
The Mugen RR is a track-focused evolution of the Japanese-market FD2 Civic Type R, developed by Honda's long-term tuning partner. It features a carbon-fibre front bumper and grille, a vented aluminium bonnet, and a unique dual-exit exhaust system that helps the K20A engine reach 240 PS. Weight reduction was a priority, resulting in a 15kg saving over the standard Type R through the use of carbon-fibre Recaro seats and lightweight forged wheels. Only 300 units were produced, all finished in Milano Red, making it one of the most sought-after modern JDM classics.
