About the Mini Cooper F56
The F56 was the third generation of the BMW-era three-door MINI hatch, debuting in 2014. The Cooper's turbocharged three-cylinder engine offered a lively middle ground between the One and Cooper S. Its direct steering and short wheelbase retain much of the playful character associated with the badge. Facelifts updated the car before the F56 gave way to the next hatch generation in 2024.
