About the Porsche 911 992
The 992 generation debuted in 2018, with the base Carrera joining the range in 2019. Its rear-mounted flat-six and rapid PDK dual-clutch gearbox preserve the 911’s distinctive layout while making performance approachable in everyday driving. Wide-track bodywork and modern driver aids give it more stability than earlier generations, without losing its responsive steering and rear-engined character. This car reflects the pre-facelift Carrera; later 992s gained revised output.
