About the Noble M12
The Noble M12 GTO-3R is the refined evolution of Lee Noble's giant-killing mid-engined formula, featuring a Getrag six-speed manual and a Quaife limited-slip differential. Its bespoke steel spaceframe and double-wishbone suspension provide world-class handling that famously challenged the contemporary Porsche 911 Turbo. The Ford-sourced Duratec V6 is heavily modified by Roush Technologies with twin Garrett T25 turbochargers, delivering explosive power in a lightweight 1,080kg package. Lacking ABS, traction control, or airbags, it remains one of the most pure and rewarding driver's cars of the 2000s.

Noble M12 fun facts
- The GTO-3R introduced a six-speed gearbox and a limited-slip differential, addressing the main criticisms of the earlier five-speed GTO-3.
- Despite its exotic performance, the M12 uses several parts-bin components, including tail lights from a Mondeo estate and an engine block from a Ford Taurus.
- The M12 was so well-engineered that the rights to the chassis were later sold to Rossion to create the Q1 supercar.
