About the Porsche 911 993

The 993 refined the 911 with new suspension and smoother bodywork while retaining its rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-six. This 1996-era Carrera manual uses the VarioRam intake introduced for the model year, increasing the 3.6-litre engine's output. It balances everyday usability with characteristic rear-engined handling and a distinctive mechanical soundtrack. As the last air-cooled 911 generation, it has enduring collector appeal.
