About the Honda Civic AG

The third-generation Civic, known internally as the AG for the three-door hatchback, introduced the 'Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum' design philosophy that would define Honda for decades. Its distinctive 'breadvan' silhouette featured a long roofline and vertical tailgate, maximizing interior volume within a compact footprint. The 1.5 GL was a high-specification trim for the European and Japanese markets, featuring the 12-valve EW-series engine. Today, these cars are prized by collectors for their lightweight agility, exceptional visibility, and the pure, mechanical driving experience typical of 1980s Hondas.
