About the BMW M3 E30

BMW Motorsport developed the first M3 to homologate the E30 for touring-car competition. Its box arches, revised chassis and high-revving S14 four-cylinder distinguish it from an ordinary 3 Series. The standard 2.3-litre coupé rewards precise inputs rather than relying on brute force, while its extensive racing record has helped make original cars sought after.
