About the BMW 3.0 CSL G82
Launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW M, the 2023 3.0 CSL is a modern homage to the legendary 'Batmobile' of the 1970s. Based on the G82 M4, it features a bespoke coachbuilt body with extensive carbon fibre components and a unique manual-only powertrain. The S58 engine was tuned to 560 PS, making it the most powerful straight-six in BMW history at launch, though torque was limited to protect the manual gearbox. With its fixed rear wing, roof spoiler, and centre-lock wheels, it represents the pinnacle of M division's driver-focused engineering.
