About the Toyota Crown S180

The S180 generation, marketed as the 'Zero Crown', represented a total redesign of Toyota's flagship executive sedan to appeal to a younger demographic. It abandoned the traditional boxy styling and long-running inline-six engines in favour of a more aerodynamic profile and the new GR-series V6. Built on the Toyota N platform shared with the Lexus GS, it offers a refined, quiet ride with high-quality interior materials and advanced features like adaptive cruise control. While the Athlete trim focused on sportiness, the Royal Saloon remained the choice for traditional Japanese luxury, prioritising comfort and smooth power delivery.
