About the Toyota 2000GT

Developed with Yamaha, the 2000GT was built from 1967 to 1970 and demonstrated that Japan could produce a world-class grand tourer. Its aluminium body shelters a twin-cam straight-six and a five-speed gearbox. Light controls, precise steering and a flowing shape make it more than a rarity on paper. Survivors are highly sought after, although values vary greatly with originality and history.
