About the Lincoln MKZ
The 2008 Lincoln MKZ represents the second year of the rebranded Zephyr, featuring a more powerful 3.5-litre Duratec V6 engine that significantly improved performance over its predecessor. Built on the Ford CD3 platform shared with the Fusion, the MKZ distinguished itself with a more compliant ride, genuine wood interior accents, and a high level of standard equipment including heated and cooled seats. For 2008, Lincoln introduced the SYNC infotainment system as standard, enhancing its appeal as a tech-forward entry-luxury choice. While it prioritised comfort and value over the sporty dynamics of European rivals, it offered a quiet and spacious cabin that remains a hallmark of the brand.
