About the SEAT Ibiza Mk4
The Mk4 SEAT Ibiza received a significant facelift in 2012, introducing sharper 'arrowhead' styling and updated engines to the Luc Donckerwolke-designed supermini. The 1.2 TSI FR variant served as a bridge between standard models and the high-performance Cupra, offering the sporty FR (Formula Racing) aesthetics and firmer suspension without the higher running costs. Built on the Volkswagen Group PQ25 platform shared with the Polo, it delivers a more agile and engaging driving experience than its German sibling. While the interior is heavy on hard plastics, the FR trim adds supportive sports seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel to enhance the cabin's athletic feel.
