About the SEAT Ibiza Cupra R Mk2
The Ibiza Cupra R was the first road-going project from SEAT Sport, the brand's motorsport division, created to celebrate their success in the World Rally Championship. Based on the facelifted Mk2 Ibiza (6K2), it features a 180 PS version of the ubiquitous Volkswagen Group 1.8T engine, paired with a bespoke chassis setup. Distinguishing features include 16-inch OZ Racing multi-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo four-piston front brake calipers finished in red, and a more aggressive body kit. With only 200 units produced, it is one of the rarest and most sought-after SEAT models, offering a raw, mechanical driving experience that predates the more refined later generations.
