About the Chevrolet Tacuma
The Chevrolet Tacuma, originally launched as a Daewoo before the brand's European rebranding in 2005, was a compact MPV designed to offer maximum utility at a minimum price point. Despite its humble underpinnings shared with the Daewoo Nubira, the exterior styling was penned by the renowned Italian design house Pininfarina. The 1.6 SX served as the entry-level trim, providing a spacious cabin with flexible seating that could be folded or removed entirely. While it lacked the refinement and clever packaging of contemporary European rivals like the Renault Scénic, it gained a following for its straightforward mechanicals and high equipment levels relative to its cost.

- The Tacuma features an unusually long wheelbase for its class, which helped provide a more spacious interior than its compact exterior dimensions suggested.
