About the Honda S2000 CR AP2
The Honda S2000 CR (Club Racer) was a North American exclusive designed as a final, track-oriented tribute to the AP2 generation. It features a distinctive aerodynamic kit including a large fixed rear wing and a revised front spoiler, which combined to reduce lift by 70%. To save weight and increase rigidity, the folding soft top was replaced by a removable aluminium hardtop and additional chassis bracing. The suspension was significantly stiffened, and the steering rack was quickened to provide sharper response compared to the standard model.
