About the Honda S2000 AP2
The AP2 generation of the Honda S2000 brought significant chassis refinements to the legendary roadster, including a wider rear track and 17-inch wheels to address the earlier car's 'snap-oversteer' reputation. While North American models received a larger 2.2-litre engine, European examples like this one retained the high-revving 2.0-litre F20C unit, famous for its 9,000 rpm redline. The 2006 model year introduced electronic Drive-by-Wire throttle and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), making it the most composed and daily-drivable version of the purist icon. Its front-mid engine layout and 50/50 weight distribution ensure it remains one of the finest-handling sports cars of its decade.
