About the Nissan Silvia S15
Nissan launched the S15 Silvia in Japan in January 1999, with production continuing until 2002. The Japanese-market Spec-R manual pairs the turbocharged SR20DET engine with a new six-speed gearbox and a helical limited-slip differential. A smaller body and stronger chassis distinguish it from the previous Silvia while preserving the front-engine, rear-drive layout. These figures describe an unmodified Japanese Spec-R manual; the valuation is an indicative collector range rather than an original US list price.
