About the Honda CR-V Mk2
The second-generation Honda CR-V evolved the 'Comfortable Runabout Vehicle' formula with a larger cabin and the introduction of the K-series i-VTEC engine. It retained the popular side-hinged tailgate with a full-size spare wheel and the signature flat floor that allowed for easy movement between seats. While not a serious off-roader, its Real Time 4WD system and independent suspension provided car-like handling and excellent all-weather usability. It remains a staple of the used market due to its exceptional build quality and mechanical longevity.
