About the Renault Koleos HY
The first-generation Renault Koleos was a global collaboration, designed by Renault, engineered by Nissan, and manufactured by Renault Samsung Motors in South Korea. It shares its underpinnings with the Nissan X-Trail, providing it with respectable off-road capability via the 'All Mode 4x4-i' system. While it struggled to compete with the style of European rivals, it was praised for its comfortable ride and practical split-opening tailgate. The 2.0 dCi engine was the mainstay of the range, offering a balance of torque and efficiency for towing and family duties.
