About the Dodge Dart PF
The 2013 Dodge Dart marked the brand's return to the compact sedan segment, replacing the Caliber with a vehicle built on the 'Compact US Wide' platform derived from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. While its name evoked the classic 1960s muscle car, the PF-generation Dart was a modern front-wheel-drive economy car focused on safety and technology, featuring ten standard airbags and an optional 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen. The 2.0-litre 'Tigershark' engine served as the base powerplant, offering a balance of efficiency and adequate daily performance. Despite its European DNA and sharp styling, the Dart struggled to compete with established rivals and was discontinued after a single generation.
