About the Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR ZB
The 2008 Viper SRT-10 ACR (American Club Racer) transformed the fourth-generation Viper into a track-focused weapon. It features a massive carbon fibre rear wing and front splitter that generate nearly 1,000 lbs of downforce at 150 mph, significantly improving high-speed stability over the standard coupe. While the 8.4-litre V10 remains mechanically identical to the base car, the ACR adds KW two-way adjustable coilovers and lightweight Sidewinder wheels. In 2008, it famously set a production car lap record of 7:22.1 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, cementing its status as a world-class performance icon.

Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR ZB fun facts
- The ACR's extreme aerodynamics actually reduced its top speed from the standard coupe's 202 mph to 180 mph due to increased drag.
- An optional 'Hard Core' package saved an additional 40 lbs by removing the audio system, trunk carpet, and hood silencer pad.
- The 2008 Nürburgring record run was performed by driver Tom Coronel using a completely stock car on street-legal Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.
