About the Chrysler 300C LD
The second-generation Chrysler 300 (LD) debuted in 2011, refining the bold, blocky aesthetic of its predecessor with smoother lines and a significantly upgraded interior. This 3.6-litre trim introduced the Pentastar V6, providing a balance of 292 hp and improved fuel economy compared to the outgoing V6 units. While it retained the LX-derived chassis with Mercedes-Benz E-Class and S-Class suspension components, the LD generation offered a more composed and quiet ride. In the UK, this generation was marketed as the 300C, whereas in continental Europe it was briefly sold as the Lancia Thema.
