About the Kia Cadenza VG
The first-generation Kia Cadenza, known as the K7 in South Korea, marked a significant shift in the brand's design language under the direction of Peter Schreyer. Replacing the Opirus, it introduced the 'Tiger Nose' grille and a more European-inspired aesthetic to the full-size sedan segment. The 3.5-litre Lambda II V6 provided smooth, linear power, positioning the car as a credible alternative to established near-luxury rivals. While it offered a high level of standard equipment and a refined cabin, it was primarily focused on comfort and highway cruising rather than sporting dynamics.
