About the Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6

The Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 was the high-performance pinnacle of the DaimlerChrysler merger, essentially a Mercedes-Benz SLK32 AMG wrapped in American 'Art Deco' styling. Built by Karmann in Germany, it features the hand-built AMG M112 E32 engine and a stiffened chassis to handle the significant power increase over the standard model. It is distinguished by a large fixed rear spoiler, unique 15-spoke wheels, and a deeper front chin spoiler. While the recirculating ball steering lacks the precision of contemporary Porsches, its straight-line speed and rarity make it a compelling modern classic.
