About the BMW 7 Series F01
The F01 generation marked a significant shift for the 7 Series, moving away from the controversial 'Bangle-butt' styling of its predecessor toward a more conservative and elegant aesthetic. The 730d served as the volume-selling entry point in Europe, powered by the smooth N57 all-aluminium diesel engine which offered a class-leading balance of torque and efficiency. It was the first 7 Series to feature Integral Active Steering and a host of advanced driver aids like Night Vision and Lane Departure Warning. While not sold in the US, it remains a staple of the European executive used market, valued for its long-distance cruising ability and high-quality cabin materials.
