About the SsangYong Chairman W

The SsangYong Chairman W represents the second generation of the brand's flagship luxury saloon, succeeding the W124-based Chairman H. While the 'W' stands for 'World Class', the car was primarily a domestic success in South Korea, serving as a patriotic alternative to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It utilizes a platform derived from the Mercedes-Benz W220 S-Class and features engines and transmissions licensed from the German manufacturer. The 3.6-litre straight-six variant offers a smooth, chauffeur-focused ride with a high level of interior equipment, including a 10-airbag system and Harman Kardon audio.
