About the Peugeot 108
The Peugeot 108 was launched in 2014 as a successor to the 107, continuing the joint venture between PSA and Toyota. Sharing its platform and 1.0-litre Toyota-sourced engine with the Citroën C1 and Toyota Aygo, the 108 distinguished itself with a more premium, 'chic' aesthetic and extensive personalisation options. The Active trim was the core volume seller, offering essential modernities like a 7-inch touchscreen and air conditioning in a package weighing well under a tonne. While not built for the motorway, its tight turning circle and thrummy three-cylinder engine make it an ideal tool for navigating narrow European city streets.
