About the Citroën C1 Mk1

The Citroën C1 Mk1 was part of the 'B-Zero' project, a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroën and Toyota that also produced the Peugeot 107 and Toyota Aygo. Built in Kolín, Czech Republic, it was designed as a minimalist urban runabout with a focus on low running costs and ease of parking. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine, developed by Toyota, provides a distinctive thrum and surprising eagerness thanks to the car's sub-900kg kerb weight. The VTR trim added essential comforts like electric windows and central locking, making it a popular choice for first-time drivers and city dwellers alike.
