About the Honda Integra Type R DC5
The DC5-generation Integra Type R was a significant departure from its predecessor, introducing the legendary K20A engine and a stiffer, more refined chassis. While it traded the DC2's double-wishbone front suspension for MacPherson struts, it gained a close-ratio six-speed manual and a helical limited-slip differential as standard. Exclusively built for the Japanese market, it became a popular 'grey import' in the UK and Australia due to its 8,400 rpm redline and sharp handling. Today, it is celebrated as one of the last great naturally aspirated front-wheel-drive performance cars.
