About the Chrysler Concorde
The Chrysler Concorde debuted in 1993 as one of the original LH-platform sedans, representing a radical departure from the company's aging K-car architecture. Its defining 'cab-forward' styling, inspired by the Lamborghini Portofino concept, pushed the wheels to the corners and raked the windshield to create a cavernous interior that rivalled luxury flagships. The 3.3-litre V6 served as the base powertrain, offering smooth if unhurried performance suited for long-distance cruising. While it was a critical success and earned a spot on Car and Driver's Ten Best list, early models are now rare survivors, valued primarily for their role in Chrysler's 1990s design renaissance.
