About the Buick LaCrosse
The third-generation Buick LaCrosse arrived for the 2017 model year, shedding nearly 136kg (300 lbs) compared to its predecessor thanks to a new high-strength steel platform. It features a 3.6-litre LGX V6 engine equipped with cylinder deactivation and stop-start technology for improved efficiency. Positioned as a 'tweener' between mainstream and luxury, it offers a remarkably quiet cabin and a more athletic stance inspired by the Avenir concept. While it was a critical success, North American production ended in 2019 as Buick shifted its focus entirely to SUVs.
