About the Buick LaCrosse
The second-generation LaCrosse marked a pivotal shift for Buick, moving away from its traditional image toward a more contemporary, premium aesthetic. Built on the global Epsilon II platform shared with the Opel Insignia, it offered a significantly more refined driving experience and a cabin that rivalled entry-level luxury competitors from Lexus and Acura. The 3.6-litre V6, exclusive to the range-topping CXS trim for 2010, provided smooth power delivery and was paired with a sophisticated real-time active damping suspension. While not a sports sedan, its quietness and high-quality interior materials made it a credible alternative in the mid-size luxury segment.
