About the BMW M5 CS F90
The M5 CS (Competition Sport) is the hardcore, limited-run flagship of the F90-generation M5, engineered to bridge the gap between a luxury saloon and a track-focused supercar. It features a 70kg weight reduction over the M5 Competition through extensive use of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the bonnet, splitter, and diffuser. The chassis is significantly revised with stiffer engine mounts, retuned springs, and dampers derived from the M8 Gran Coupé, resulting in a remarkably agile driving experience. Inside, it is distinguished by a unique four-bucket-seat configuration and yellow-tinted Laserlight headlights that pay homage to BMW's GT racing heritage.
