About the Lamborghini Murciélago
Introduced at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, the LP 640 was a comprehensive evolution of the original Murciélago. It featured a displacement increase to 6.5 litres, revised bodywork with asymmetrical side intakes, and a new hexagonal exhaust. While Audi's ownership brought improved build quality and electronics, the car retained the raw, intimidating character of its predecessors. As the final series-production Lamborghini to use the legendary Bizzarrini-based V12 architecture, it has become a highly sought-after modern classic, especially in rare manual-transmission form.
