About the BMW 5 Series G30
The seventh-generation 5 Series saloon reached showrooms in 2017 with a lighter body and an emphasis on connected technology. This entry uses the pre-facelift 520d with rear-wheel drive and the eight-speed Steptronic automatic. Its four-cylinder diesel delivers relaxed motorway progress, while the balanced chassis retains BMW's familiar saloon agility. The G30 remained in production until the G60 replaced it in 2023.
