About the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213

Mercedes-Benz introduced the W213 E-Class saloon in 2016 as a technology-led successor to the W212. This entry uses the pre-facelift E 220 d, pairing the new OM654 four-cylinder diesel with a nine-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive. Its quiet cabin and supple suspension make it particularly suited to long-distance travel. A facelift arrived in 2020 before the W214 saloon replaced it in 2023.
