About the Audi A3 8P
The second-generation Audi A3, designated 8P, refined the premium compact formula by utilising the Volkswagen Group A5 (PQ35) platform. The 2.0 TDI Sport was a mainstay of the range, offering a balance of punchy mid-range torque and impressive fuel economy that made it a favourite for long-distance commuting. This 2010 model year features the facelifted styling, including the 'single-frame' grille and LED daytime running lights. While not a dedicated performance car, the Sport trim provided a firmer suspension setup and bolstered seats, enhancing the car's composure through corners compared to the SE or Standard trims.
