About the Audi A3 8V
The 8V A3 debuted in 2012 and added the practical five-door Sportback to Audi's premium hatchback line-up. The 1.4 TFSI cylinder-on-demand version can temporarily deactivate two cylinders under light load to save fuel. Front-wheel drive, a neat cabin and a composed ride make this an easy everyday car. The fourth-generation 8Y replaced the 8V in 2020.
