About the Audi A1 quattro 8X
The Audi A1 quattro is a limited-edition homologation-style special that brought the brand's legendary all-wheel-drive system to its smallest platform. Developed as a production version of the A1 clubsport quattro concept, it features over 600 unique parts, including a multi-link rear suspension borrowed from the TTS and a modified floorpan. Finished exclusively in Glacier White with 18-inch turbine wheels and a large fixed rear wing, it was only available in left-hand drive. Its 2.0-litre TFSI engine and manual gearbox provide a raw, mechanical driving experience that predated the more mainstream S1.
