About the SEAT Toledo Mk4
The fourth-generation SEAT Toledo marked a return to the model's roots as a practical liftback after the MPV-styled third generation. Developed alongside the Skoda Rapid, it utilised a stretched version of the Volkswagen Group A05 platform to provide class-leading boot space and rear legroom. The 1.6 TDI engine was the range's efficiency leader, offering low CO2 emissions and high fuel economy suited for long-distance commuting. While it lacked the flair of other SEAT models, its focus on utility and Volkswagen Group mechanicals made it a sensible, if understated, choice.
