About the IKCO Runna

The IKCO Runna was introduced in 2012 as a more affordable, domestically-developed alternative to the Peugeot 206 SD upon which it is based. It features a redesigned front and rear end, along with a revised interior, while retaining the 206's chassis and the reliable PSA-derived TU5 engine. As Iran Khodro's second 'national car' after the Samand, it was designed to meet stricter European safety standards of the time. The vehicle served as a staple of the Iranian domestic market, offering basic, functional transport with widely available spare parts.
