About the SEAT Marbella

The SEAT Marbella was the result of the 1980s split between SEAT and Fiat, essentially serving as a badge-engineered continuation of the original Fiat Panda. While Fiat moved forward with the 'FIRE' engine and revised suspension, SEAT retained the older 903cc pushrod engine and leaf-spring rear axle, marketing the Marbella as a budget-friendly alternative. It is celebrated for its extreme simplicity, durability, and Giugiaro-penned boxy design. For collectors, it represents a pure, unadulterated era of Spanish motoring history, offering a driving experience defined by its lightweight agility and mechanical honesty.
