About the SEAT Leon Mk3
The third-generation SEAT Leon (Mk3) marked a significant shift for the brand, moving to the Volkswagen Group's versatile MQB platform. The FR (Formula Racing) trim represents the sportier side of the standard range, offering firmer suspension and more aggressive styling without the extreme running costs of the Cupra. In 184 PS diesel form, it provides a compelling mix of long-distance efficiency and genuine warm-hatch performance. It was the first car in the compact segment to offer full LED headlights, a feature that became a signature of its sharp, Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos design.
