About the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo F34
The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo (F34) was a unique addition to the F30 generation, built on the long-wheelbase chassis originally developed for the Chinese market. It sits higher than the standard saloon and Touring models, offering significantly more rear legroom and a larger hatchback boot. The 320d trim features the N47 (and later B47) diesel engine, balancing efficiency with enough torque for long-distance cruising. While it lacks the sharp handling of the standard 3 Series due to its higher centre of gravity and increased weight, it remains a highly practical executive express.
