About the Renault Megane Mk4
The fourth-generation Renault Megane brought a significant leap in design and technology, featuring the brand's distinctive C-shaped LED light signature and a more premium interior. The 1.3 TCe engine, co-developed with Daimler, replaced the older 1.2-litre units in 2018, offering improved efficiency and a broader torque band. In GT Line trim, the Megane adopts the aggressive styling of the full-fat GT and R.S. models, including 18-inch diamond-cut wheels and sports seats, without the higher running costs. It remains a stylish, comfort-oriented alternative to the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus, though it prioritises cruising refinement over outright handling precision.
