About the Plymouth Fury
The 1958 Plymouth Fury represents the final year of the model's existence as a exclusive, high-performance sub-series of the Belvedere. Styled under Virgil Exner's 'Forward Look' design language, it is distinguished by its quad headlights, towering tailfins, and signature Buckskin Beige paint with gold-anodized aluminum trim. The 318-cubic inch 'V-800' engine features dual four-barrel carburetors, providing performance that rivalled contemporary sports cars. While it gained immortality as the titular possessed car in Stephen King's 'Christine', collectors value it for its rare combination of mid-century elegance and Mopar muscle.

Plymouth Fury fun facts
- For 1958, the Fury was only available in one colour: Buckskin Beige with gold-anodized side sweeps.
- Though the movie 'Christine' featured a red 1958 Fury, that colour was never offered by the factory for the 1956-1958 sub-series.
- The 1958 model was the first Fury to feature quad headlights, a major styling trend for that year across the American industry.
