About the Peugeot 301
Launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Peugeot 301 was developed specifically for emerging markets in Eastern Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Built on the PSA PF1 platform shared with the 208, it prioritised durability and cabin space over luxury, featuring a reinforced suspension and a massive 506-litre boot. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder VTi engine served as the entry-level powertrain, offering high fuel efficiency for cost-conscious buyers. While never officially sold in the UK or North America, it became a global success for Peugeot, particularly in Turkey and China.
