About the Mitsubishi eK
The fourth-generation Mitsubishi eK, launched in 2019, represents a significant leap forward for the kei car segment through a joint venture with Nissan (NMKV). Built on an entirely new platform, it features a more rigid chassis and improved sound insulation compared to its predecessor. The 660cc BR06 engine is designed for efficiency and urban agility, paired with a smooth CVT that maximises the limited power output. Inside, it offers surprising roominess and was the first Mitsubishi to feature the MI-PILOT single-lane driver assistance system, bringing semi-autonomous highway tech to the micro-car class.
