About the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII FQ-400
Developed by Mitsubishi Motors UK and Ralliart to celebrate 30 years in Britain, the FQ-400 was the most extreme Lancer Evolution ever sold through official channels. Based on the VIII MR, it features a heavily modified 4G63 engine with a custom Garrett turbocharger and forged internals, producing a staggering 202.5 bhp per litre. While notorious for its significant turbo lag, it remains a legendary 'giant-killer' capable of shaming contemporary supercars on a circuit. Only 100 units were produced, distinguished by a carbon fibre front lip, vortex generator, and center-exit exhaust.
